Embark on a creative journey around the world with our Mixed Media & Multicultural Art camp! Young artists will explore diverse cultures through hands-on projects inspired by global traditions. From sculpting vibrant Yayoi Kusama-inspired creations with air-dry clay to crafting colorful African beads, Brazilian pattern designs, and dynamic Chinese Paper Dragons.
Students will delve into rich artistic heritages. Using materials like air-dry clay, paper mâché, fabric paint, and colorful papers—in combination with other fun mixed media art materials.
Campers will experiment with mixed media techniques such as sculpture, painting, drawing, bead making, pattern creation, and paper crafts. This camp fosters cultural appreciation and artistic expression, all while having fun with a variety of textures, colors, and patterns.
